It Just Doesn’t Stop

Nerds abound.

So I was at The Gap over the weekend and it reminded me about this time we were watching The Fresh Prince on Nick at Nite. When the motion graphics appeared after the credits, the first thing that came to mind was recent design trends. How nerdy is that when it should be a reminder of Boogie Nights or The Bee Gees instead?

Safari with Saft and Exposé Tabs

Safari with Saft tab thumbnails.

Ever have one of those stupid moments with software where you discovered a feature you’ve been wanting already exists in its current state? Well, I was pressing random combinations of buttons to find the shortcut for é which I’ve forgotten and stumbled upon fruit + option + shift + t—it gave me tiled previews of tabs from all windows. How bodacious is that?

I know this is completely useless to most people as the Safari user-base is small and the Safari with Saft user-base is even smaller, but it’s really useful for people with five windows open with multiple tabs in each. It’s much more useful than the thumbnail views per window that seem to be more popular with the Firefox extension, foXpose, and the upcoming Internet Explorer 7.
